Pengembangan instrumen penilaian sikap jujur siswa SMP kelas VII

Abstract:

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah 1) mengetahui bagaimana guru menilai sikap jujur siswa kelas VIII, 2) mengembangkan instrumen penilaian sikap jujur siswa kelas VIII, 3) mengetahui kategori sikap jujur siswa khususnya kelas VIII. Rancangan penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan. Penelitian ini berlokasi di SMPN 2 Bandongan, SMPN 2 Borobudur, SMPN 2 Mungkid Kabupaten Magelang. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII dari ketiga sekolah tersebut dengan jumlah masing-masing 118,72, dan 160, atau total sebanyak 350 orang. Teknik analisis data untuk uji validitas butir menggunakan Eksploratory Factor Analiysis (EFA), reliabilitas dengan koefisien Cronbach’s Alpha. Pengujian validitas konkuren, analisis faktor, dan statistik deskriptif diolah dengan bantuan SPSS 21. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) guru melakukan penilaian sikap jujur siswa SMP kelas VIII dengan cara pengamatan langsung tanpa menggunakan instrumen baku, 2) terbentuk instrumen penilaian  sikap jujur siswa SMP kelas VIII yang layak dan baku yang terdiri atas 18 butir pernyataan valensi dan 21 butir pernyataan faktual, koefisien Cronbach’s Alpha  sebesar 0,832 dan  KMO MSA sebesar 0,782 serta 3) dapat disimpulkan bahwa secara umum sikap jujur siswa SMP kelas VIII berada pada kategori sedang.


 


Abstract: This study aims to 1) find out how the teacher assesses the honest attitude of grade VIII junior high school students, 2) develop a proper and standardized assessment instrument for the honest attitude of grade VIII junior high school students, and 3) determine the honest attitude category of grade VIII junior high school students. This type of research is development research. This research is located at SMP Negeri 2 Bandongan, SMP Negeri 2 Borobudur and SMP Negeri 2 Mungkid, Magelang Regency. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII from the three schools with 118, 72 and 160 students, respectively. Data collection techniques with interviews and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques to test the validity using Eksploratory Factor Analiysis (EFA), analysis of the results of the questionnaire by calculating the correlation between the item score and the total score, concurrent validity testing, factor analysis, and descriptive statistics using SPSS 21. The results showed that 1) the teacher assessed the honest attitude of grade VIII junior high school students by means of direct observation not using standard instruments, 2) an appropriate and standard instrument for assessing the honest attitude of grade VIII junior high school students consisted of 18 valence statement items and 21 statement items. factually, the Cronbach's Alpha coefficient is 0.832 and KMO MSA is 0.782 and 3) students who have honest attitudes are high category 26 (13.68%) students, moderate 136 (71.58%) students, and low as many as 28 (14.74%) ) students. It can be concluded that in general the honest attitude of grade VIII junior high school students is in the medium category.
